A TikTok video of a father-of-two and his 23-year-old nanny goofing around and getting remarkably touchy-feely has raised eyebrows on the social media platform, where commenters are convinced that the two are sleeping together.
The man’s wife and the nanny’s employer, Rachel, shared the video on TikTok last week, calling it ‘the nanny-dad content no one asked for.’
In the clip, her husband Andrew and her nanny Lizzie Norton take turns lifting each other up, wrapping their arms around each other and in his case, perhaps inadvertently, copping a feel.
Though Rachel, 34, has defended the behavior as innocent and insists Lizzie is like ‘family,’ many commenters are adamant that what they see constitutes inappropriate flirting — and they’ve warned that it’s a major red flag.
Don’t be suspicious! A TikTok video of a father-of-two and his 23-year-old nanny goofing around and getting remarkably touchy-feely has raised eyebrows on social media
Grab hold! In the clip, Andrew and his children’s nanny Lizzie Norton take turns lifting each other up
Uh-oh! At one point, Andrew lifts Lizzie up by her waist — but as he holds her up in the air, his hands slip higher and appear to cup under her breasts
‘You touched her boobs!’ Andrew’s husband Rachel can be heard saying off camera with a light tone. ‘I know, I know,’ he says back with a laugh before turning away
Rachel wrote that ‘that ‘this is what happens … when dad comes home before the nanny leaves.’
The video begins with Andrew, in a T-shirt and jeans, and the nanny, in a loose T-shirt and shorts, flexing muscles for the camera.
Then Lizzie bends her legs and lifts a laughing Andrew off the floor. Next up they trade places, with Andrew lifting Lizzie up by her waist — but as he holds her up in the air, his hands slip higher and appear to cup under her breasts.

Finally, they attempt the famous lift from Dirty Dancing, with Lizzie running into Andrew’s arms. He grips her by the armpits, and she puts her hands around the back of his neck while Rachel dictates corrections for their form.
They try it again, this time with the dad’s hands on Lizzie’s torso, again seemingly grazing the bottom of her breasts.

No big deal, guys! Andrew, Rachel, and Lizzie have all cracked jokes about the controversy around their video
The video has quickly gone viral, earning 6.6 million views on Rachel’s page and 5.1 million more when it was reshared by a user named The Best-Loved Nanny.
Commenters were quick to pile on Rachel, Lizzie, and Andrew, calling the video ‘so inappropriate’ and saying it made them ‘uncomfortable.’
‘The fact that they were both insanely comfortable doing this is unsettling,’ wrote one.
‘My wife divorced me solely for watching this video,’ joked another.
‘What they’re doing doesn’t even look fun. They just like touching each other,’ said a third, while yet another added: ‘Reminds me of the stuff we’d do in middle school to flirt without admitting we were flirting.
Several nannies said they’d never behave in such a way with the father of their charges.
‘I have been a nanny for 15 years, and never in my life has anything like this happened,’ wrote one.
Off-putting: Commenters were quick to pile on Rachel, Lizzie, and Andrew, calling the video ‘so inappropriate’ and saying it made them ‘uncomfortable’
Others insisted that Rachel is ‘in denial,’ with one writing: ‘She SAYS it’s fine but the energy tells a different story.
‘Ben Affleck energy. Not in a good way,’ another commenter said.
‘Only way someone encouraged anyone to act like this with their husband is if they’re desperately trying to prove to themself [sic] that nothing is going on,’ wrote one more.
Yet while many people assumed that the video would quickly be deleted, it’s still up a week later — and Rachel has posted several videos defending her husband and Lizzie.
She said that she and Andrew got to know Lizzie when she worked in the baby room at the day care where they dropped one their oldest son while they went to work.
‘She was always the nicest, the sweetest. She would send pictures all day, and we would talk all day. She wasn’t like the other people that worked there, and I wasn’t like the other moms. We were, like, friends,’ she said.
‘We instantly became friends,’ Lizzie agreed.
‘I’m not being groomed, everybody can calm down,’ Lizzie said in a rebuttal, pointing out that she is not a minor and insisting there was nothing inappropriate about the video
Rachel came to her defense, saying: ‘Stop attacking her. She’s an angel. She’s a godsend to our family and people are attacking her like she’s some sort of s**t’
Their favorite: Lizzie watched Rachel and Andrew’s kids at a daycare center before the pandemic. When it shut down, they hired her as a nanny
‘Andrew and her are funny and she’s like our little sister,’ Rachel said
When the daycare center shut down during the pandemic, Rachel and Andrew hired Lizzie to come nanny for them in their home.
‘In the beginning of the pandemic, my husband worked from home while I went to work, and he and Lizzie did see each other every day,’ she said.
She explained that Andrew was upstairs while Lizzie was watching a four-year-old and a one-year-old downstairs, not giving her much time to ‘sneak and whatever.’
But then Andrew returned to the office, and he now leaves before Lizzie arrives in the morning and returns home after she leaves.
‘On the rare occasion she does see him, they’re so happy to see each other, because she’s like our little sister. We love her to death. She’s really goofy and weird and we can joke around and mess with her, and vice versa,’ Rachel said.
‘Andrew and her are funny and she’s like our little sister. When she dates and makes bad decisions on other things, we give her advice. We tell her we’re disappointed in her, we tell her we’re proud of her.
‘She’s not a minor,’ she added, while Lizzie concurred: ‘I’m not being groomed, everybody can calm down.’
Chill pill! Rachel and Lizzie appeared in several videos together arguing that they are friends and their dynamic is totally normal
Whatever! The pair also think it’s ‘hilarious’ that viewers are ‘so worked up’ over their video
Lizzie also explained that she put her arms around Andrew’s neck because she was afraid of falling, and insisted that Andrew didn’t touch her chest, saying: ‘I don’t have any boobs to test.’
Meanwhile, Rachel urged viewers to leave Lizzie alone.
‘Stop attacking her. She’s an angel. She’s a godsend to our family and people are attacking her like she’s some sort of s**t,’ she said.

Yet their denial has done little to assuage the suspicions of commenters, with many saying the ‘awkward’ response just ‘confirmed it.’
‘I think the mom is trying to convince herself more than us viewers that nothing is going on,’ wrote one.
‘Mom is mad everyone sees what she’s trying hard not to see,’ wrote another.
‘Mouth shrugging, smiles not always reaching the eyes, and self soothing gestures make me think the nanny is hiding something,’ said one more.
