Congress’s imperial dynasty should apologise to nation for PMNRF loot, says…

NEW DELHI: The BJP kept up the attack on donations from Chinese embassy and PM’s relief fund to Sonia Gandhi – led Rajeev Gandhi Foundation (RGF). A day after Ravi Shankar Prasad raised the issue to ask questions , BJP chief J P Nadda on Friday asked Sonia Gandhi to explain as to why the PMNRF, meant to help people in distress, was donating money to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in UPA years.
“Who sat on the PMNRF board? Smt. Sonia Gandhi. Who chairs RGF? Smt. Sonia Gandhi. Totally reprehensible, disregarding ethics, processes and not bothering about transparency,” Nadda tweeted.

The BJP chief said people of India donated their hard-earned money to PMNRF to help their fellow citizens in need. “To divert this public money into a family run foundation is not only a brazen fraud but also a big betrayal of the people of India,” he added.
Hitting sharply at the Gandhi-Nehru family, Nadda further said one family’s hunger for wealth has cost the nation immensely. “If only they have devoted their energies towards more constructive agenda. The Congress’ Imperial Dynasty needs to apologise to the unchecked loot for self-gains!” he added.
When the PMCare fund was created recently for COVID-19 fund collection, the Congress has questioned the move and had insisted that why not contributions are being sought in the PM relief fund. Then the BJP had countered the Congress criticism claiming that the the opposition party’s reservations about the exclusive fund for the Corona management was only because the PM relief fund had always the Congress president on board.
