A female staffer at Red Bull Racing has filed a complained with the parent company in Austria, alleging Horner of indulging in “inappropriate” and “controlling behaviour”.
Under-fire Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner will be grilled by an independent lawyer on Friday following allegations of inappropriate behaviour by a female staffer.
According to a report, Horner has vowed to clear his name having early denied the allegations.
“Christian is speaking privately and says that he will clear his name and come through this,” the Daily Mail quoted a source as saying.

Red Bull Austria then released a statement acknowledging it has been made aware of the allegations and that an independent investigation has been launched into the complaint.
“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation. This process, which is already under way, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time,” the company said in a statement.
According to a report in The Sun, Horner’s wife Geri Halliwell is ‘too upset’ following the allegations but remains ‘committed’ to the Briton.
“Geri seems to be simply too upset to engage with anyone. Just lots of tears. She will stand by him and be at his side just as much as she always has been. She never misses a race and that will not change,” a source was quoted as saying by the publication.
“She is committed to him with every fibre of her being,” said another source.
Another source close the singer told The Sun on Monday: “Geri has been in floods of tears all weekend while looking after her kids.
“She is insisting Christian has done nothing wrong.”
