BTS member Suga’s drunk driving case has been officially forwarded to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors Office. On August 6, the Yongsan Police found Suga trying to stand up after falling off his electric scooter while under the influence of alcohol. Following a police inquiry last week, where Suga admitted to the charges, the case was forwarded without physical detention for violating the Road Traffic Act.
Suga has publicly apologized multiple times since the incident, expressing deep regret over his actions. After the police questioning, he told the media, “I am truly reflecting on having disappointed many fans and people.” He also bowed his head in apology. The BTS rapper admitted his mistake of riding an electric scooter while intoxicated and acknowledged that he had failed in his responsibility as a public figure.
