BTS’ leader, Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, wrote a message for fans a day after the Lunar New Year. On Sunday, Namjoon shared his thoughts on the fan community forum Weverse, expressing his hope for the continuation of their strong connection. This heartfelt note left fans feeling emotional.
According to translations by BTS fans, RM wrote, “Hello ARMYs, are you doing well? I have also come to my base and have been adjusting well. I ate rice cake soup, have been resting a little since it is seol (lunar new year), and am doing well. Another seol will have to pass before I am able to see you all, but I will do well with my time.”
He also said, “I believe that it will be another place of learning and experiences. Whenever, wherever, always be healthy. And I hope that you will experience a lot more good things than bad things. Hoping that our connection will continue to go on, I hope you receive a lot of New Year blessings!”
RM, along with V (Kim Taehyung), Jimin, and Jungkook, began the process of military enlistment in November and started their training in December 2023. BigHit Music expressed their appreciation to fans for their continuous support of BTS in a statement posted on Weverse.
Currently, all seven member of BTS are completing their mandatory military enlistment with Jin, the oldest member of BTS being expected to return by June 2024.
