Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie End Their Long-Standing Divorce Battle

After an eight-year legal battle, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have officially settled their divorce battle. Filed on December 30 in Los Angeles Superior Court, the settlement’s specifics, including financial details and custody arrangements for their two minor children, remain undisclosed.

Jolie initiated the divorce in 2016 after a private plane incident where she alleged Pitt physically and verbally abused her and their children. While no charges were filed against Pitt, Jolie cited irreconcilable differences and sought sole physical custody, leading to years of contentious legal proceedings.

The couple, who were together for over a decade and married in 2014, also faced disputes over Château Miraval, their French winery. Jolie’s 2021 sale of her stake in the winery remains a separate ongoing legal issue, with Pitt claiming the sale was unlawful.
