Bollywood moms on motherhood over the years

Mother’s Day is a special occasion  to express gratitude for the love and care mothers give, acknowledging their efforts and sacrifices for their children. Over the years, Bollywood moms have candidly spoken up about their motherhood journey and how it has impacted them. This mothers day let’s go over their beautiful experiences.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja

Last year on Mother’s Day, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja opened up about how motherhood has  impacted her and she said, “I think I’ve become a more rounded human being because I’ve tried to be a better person to set a good example for my son, and the only way to be a good mom or dad is to set the right moral compass for them by doing the right thing yourself and setting a good example, and I think that has really changed me, and I’m more vigilant about doing the right thing all the time.”

Kalki Koechlin

While talking about her role in the film Goldfish, Kalki had spoken to us about how motherhood has changed and the actress said, “I don’t know if motherhood has changed me. But it’s made me question who I was before and maybe just reminded me of the things that are important to me. She further added, “You’re just a slave to this little child, crying 24/7. You start getting reminded of what matters in this life. And that’s just a wonderful feeling to know and to have that again.”

It’s also a bit of a downer. But that’s the joy of being a mother. The late nights, being there for your child, I don’t view these as pain. I was mentally ready for it. I look at the joy that it brings. That’s the best feeling.”
