Blackpink’s Jennie on signing artistes to her solo label: “Let’s not even…”


busy. The K-pop idol is gearing up for the release of her upcoming solo album. Ahead of the big release, she opened up about her discography and other activities.

In an interview with Billboard, Blackpink’s Jennie was asked about her recently established agency ODD ATELIER. Opening up about the subject, she shared, “I’ve been getting this question left and right, and my answer is, ‘Please, I am so busy on this album. Let’s not even get my brain on that path just yet.”

Last year, Jennie released her first solo single through OA. Titled Mantra, the pretty girl anthem made quite the buzz with Jennie reinventing herself.

Back in 2023, Jennie and her Blackpink bandmates Jisoo, Lisa and Rose ended their individual contracts with YG Entertainment. However, they are still managed by the agency while pursuing solo activities.

The release date of her solo album is yet to be announced.
