To celebrate the release of the new posters, Warner Bros Entertainment has released a free tool called the Barbie Selfie Generator.
‘Welcome to Barbieland, where you can be Barbie (or Ken),’ the landing page for the tool reads.
‘Click below to become an instant icon!’
To test the tool yourself, click Start and you’ll prompted to either take or upload a photo of yourself.
‘For the best results, hold your phone futher back to get a better angle and make sure you’re in a well-lit place,’ the tool advises.
Once you’re happy with your selection, click Continue and your selfie will be transformed into a film poster.
To reposition your image, select the arrow tool on the right, and you’ll be able to zoom in or out, and move the selfie from left to right.
The tool automatically selects a slogan for you, such as ‘This Barbie is an optimist’ or ‘This Barbie is an astronaut’.
