Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana on the occasion of Holi, yesterday shared the new teaser of his upcoming comedy Dream Girl 2.
Taking to Instagram, Ayushmann unravelled the teaser and wrote, “Yeh lo, Holi ke saath @pooja___dreamgirl bhi aa gayi apna rang dikhane! #DreamGirl2 in cinemas on 7th July 2023.#7KoSaathMein.”
The video doesn’t reveal Ayushmann’s face but is seen dressed in a glittery lehenga in front of a mirror. Then, she takes a call and is heard speaking to actor Ranbir Kapoor in his ‘Pooja voice’. Introducing himself, he uses his iconic phrase, “Hello main Pooja bol rahi hu. Aap Kaun?”
Responding to him, we can hear Ranbir Kapoor’s voice which say, “Tumne Meri Awaaz Nahi Pehchaani?,” followed by the background music of the song ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ from Ranbir’s 2008 film Bachna Ae Haseeno.
In response, Ayushmann’s Pooja says, “Pechaan liya…ek number ke jhoote ho tum..shaadi ka waada mujhse aur shaadi ailaa, kisi aur se.”
Ranbir says, “sab rumour hai,” which is followed by a female voice coming into the background asking, “Kaun hai RK? Kisse baatein kar rhe ho tum?” to which he replies, “Koi nahi wo Bhatinde waali bua hai.”
Concluding the teaser Pooja says, “Jhoote…Makkaar Mil kab rahe ho? Main 7 July ko aa rahi hoon apna rang dikhaane. Aana zaroor..Kapoor Ke Bina Pooja kaise hogi?”
Previously, Ayushmann also posted a hilarious teaser to the film that featured Pathaan i.e. Shah Rukh Khan’s voice.
Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to Dream Girl which was released in 2019. The first instalment was a big hit at the box office.
Besides Ayushmann, the film also features Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz among others.
Dream Girl 2 is all set to release theatrically on July 7, 2023.
