Arshad Warsi and Arbaaz Khan react to Govinda’s accident


In an unfortunate incident, actor Govinda shot himself accidentally in the leg earlier today. While he is receiving medical attention, his industry colleagues have reacted to the accident and wished him well.

During an event in the city, actor Arshad Warsi and actor-producer Arbaaz Khan called the incident unfortunate and said it should not have happened.

The actor duo was at the trailer launch of the upcoming film Banda Singh Chaudhary where they were asked about the accident. Reacting to it, Arshad said, “Whatever happened to Govinda is very unfortunate and we feel bad about it. We were talking about it and it is a weird coincidence. It should not have happened.”

Arbaaz Khan added, “We don’t know the details as of now, but we wish him well and hope that he is okay and safe. Our prayers are with him.” As per the recent reports, the doctors have removed the bullet from Govinda’s leg.

Meanwhile, talking of Banda Singh Chaudhary, the film will see Arshad Warsi in a completely different avatar compared to his previous roles.

The film is set in Punjab against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and its aftermath. It tracks the rise in communal violence in Punjab and how a common man fights to save his home and community. It is being helmed by Abhisekh Saxena and produced by Arbaaz Khan and Manish Mishra.
