AR Rahman left fans shocked when he announced his divorce from his wife Saira Banu. The two have been married for 29 years. Amidst speculation, their divorce lawyer has opened up about their possible reconciliation.
In an interview on Vicky Lalwani’s YouTube channel, AR Rahman and Saira Banu’s lawyer Vandana Shah opened up about the divorce proceedings. She shared that the subject of the children’s custody is still under deliberation.
When asked about alimony, she also shared that Saira is not “money-minded” and has stayed away from the limelight through the course of her marriage with the music maestro.

Interestingly, Vandana shared that her statement on AR Rahman and Saira Banu’s divorce mentions the pain of separation but that doesn’t mean reconciliation isn’t possible.
