Anveshi Jain opens up on her first single and working with Vishnu Vardhan

Actor and singer Anveshi Jain spoke to Filmfare about her first-ever single Banjaare. The song’s video has been directed by Shershaah director, Vishnu Vardhan. Anveshi spoke about working with Vishnu Vardhan on set, she said, “Oh it’s such a delight to work with Vishnu. He makes the shoot look so easy and fun. He has phenomenal clarity and precision when he comes on set. One thing I learnt from him is set is a holy place where every minute costs money. One should come absolutely prepared and with utmost clarity on to what’s to be done that day. “

She further spoke about how she decided to be a part of Banjaare, “When I met the lyricist and the composer of Banjaare, they started writing the lyrics of the song. Within a couple of hours the lyrics were roughly ready, the lyricist told me that you look like someone who would love the way it has been mentioned in the lyrics. He added I feel you would be a lover like this, you would take pride in a man without an expectations and claim that love. Right then I knew that this is a gift I didn’t seek but walked my way. I had a gut feeling that this would be the right project for me and hence I stuck to it.”

Anveshi also recalled how she shot to fame post singing several covers and there were lots of people around her who continuously told her to single her own original song. However, Anveshi waited for the right project. Today as she celebrates her 25^th birthday, her first single Banjaare is out for everyone to listen to.
