Fans of Anushka Sharma have reason to celebrate. The actress has finished filming Chakda Xpress, which is a biopic of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Anushka tweeted a number of photos from the wrap-up celebration where she is seen sporting a cricket jersey and short hair to resemble Jhulan while giving followers an update. Jhulan, who gave the final clap for the film and whose life and career are depicted in the movie, can also be seen. A picture of a two-tier cake bearing the title of the movie and the caption “65 days, 7 schedules and 6 cities” are also included in the carousel.
Anushka captioned the image, ‘“It’s a wrap on #ChakdaXpress and thank you Jhulan Goswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot! #ComingSoon #ChakdaXpressOnNetflix.”
Anushka Sharma last appeared in a cameo in Qala on Netflix. Her most recent prominent part was in the 2018 movie Zero, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. In recent years, she has been quite active as a producer.
