Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu worked together for the first time in 2018 in Manmarziyaan. The film also starred Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. Though it did not garner big numbers, Manmarziyaan managed to touch several hearts with its modern take on love and relationships.
All set to come together again, Anurag and Taapsee will soon start the shoot of a sci-fi film. Initially the location picture for the film was Thailand and Mauritius, but Taapsee had informed a leading daily that the story was not dependent on the location so Anurag considered changing it post the pandemic.
A source close to the filmmaker revealed that since Taapsee will be heading to Goa for the final schedule of Loop Lapeta, Anurag quickly decided to conduct a recce and finalise a location in Goa for the first schedule of the sci-fi flick.
Reports also suggest that the film will be shot over three weeks in Goa and Anurag wanted an oceanic backdrop so the situation worked out well for both of them.
