In the latest iteration of Star Plus’s ‘Anupamaa’, viewers were in for a surprise as the plot revealed Shruti’s malicious plan against Anupama, leaving Anuj and the Shah family in shock. Unexpectedly, before Shruti took off for the States, she penned down a letter to Anuj. This sudden turn of events seems to conclude her part in the plot. In a fresh conversation, Sukirti Kandpal, celebrated for her portrayal of Shruti, shared her thoughts on current happenings, feedback from her fans, and what lays ahead for her. A news report by Pinkvilla read the statements given by Sukirti said, “The current track of the show is basically a mix of all the emotions of love, jealousy, insecurity, and how it all plays out. According to me, it’s very beautiful how it shows we are all humans. It’s a humanising one, in my opinion (sic).”
Her exit from the show was left open-ended as she shared her feelings, “Personally, I believe the plot has reached its conclusion.” The actress, renowned from her role in Dill Mill Gayye, shared her thoughts on the reactions she’s received from her fans. Sukirti said, “Well, I get a lot of fan feedback; a lot of them want to know how I maintain myself, how I keep my hair, my skin. They’re fond of my makeup, and my dressing sense which is quite surprising because even I don’t notice all this about myself. They also really like my nails, which I take as a compliment (sic).”
She concluded by saying, “And then of course some of them are not so pleasing but that’s ok I think if you want to please everybody you should sell ice cream not be an actor (smiles) (sic).”
Sukirti Kandpal shared how the entire team on set, from her co-stars to the behind-the-scenes crew, are wonderfully warm and accommodating, making her work experience very pleasant. She also voiced her wish to participate in future projects that hold potential, trusting in her acting skills to land her opportunities in high-calibre productions.
