Anil Kapoor recalls not getting any assistance from his father in entering…

Anil Kapoor has had an impressive career spanning four decades in the Hindi film industry. Even at the age of 66, he continues to thrive. Despite being the son of the well-known producer Surinder Kapoor, his early years were challenging. Kapoor openly admitted that his father insisted that he establish himself in the industry without any help from him.

In an interview with a leading news portal, Anil Kapoor lovingly remembered his late father, Surinder Kapoor, who passed away in 2011. Portraying his father as a sincere, respectable, and reserved person, Kapoor stressed that he did not fit the typical image of a forceful, showbiz-oriented, or assertive figure often linked with the entertainment industry.

Anil Kapoor revealed that his father made it clear that he couldn’t help advance his career. Surprisingly, he didn’t expect any assistance. This realisation led him to trust his instincts and venture into the industry independently, ready to face its challenges.

Kapoor encountered obstacles in his film industry journey, despite his strong desire to succeed in Bollywood. The scarcity of promising opportunities had a significant impact on him, causing exhaustion, frustration, and bitterness. He openly admitted that the experience was draining and took a toll on his well-being. During this challenging period, he turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism, and his emotional state deteriorated. However, he managed to channel these negative emotions into his work, using films such as Awaargi and Mashaal as platforms for expressing his pent-up feelings and experiences.
