The 2025 Formula One season is just weeks away, and to celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary, Formula One will kick off the campaign with a special launch event at London’s The O2. The event, scheduled for February 18, will see all 10 teams, along with their drivers and team principals, in attendance. In addition, several teams will hold their events to unveil their new liveries.
Ferrari has confirmed their launch will take place on February 19, a day after the official season launch.
At this event, fans will get their first look at Ferrari’s Formula One car, driven by Lewis Hamilton. The launch will take place at Ferrari’s factory in Maranello. Meanwhile, Williams announced they will reveal their new car on February 14.

Lewis Hamilton will be seen pairing up with Charles Leclerc at Ferrari this season. Hamilton joined the Italian side having severed his 12-year tie with Mercedes. Having scored five race victories last season, Ferrari ended up with 14 points behind eventual champions McLaren in the constructors’ championship.
“It’s always a challenge, starting from the beginning of January until the launch of the season on the 19th or 18th of Feb in London, and we will do the launch on the 19th in Maranello. It means that for sure, you must have only six weeks (between Hamilton’s arrival and the first test), it’s not easy,” Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur was quoted as saying by ESPN in December last year.
Pre-season testing is scheduled from February 26-28 at the Bahrain International Circuit. The Formula One 2025 season will be kickstarted with the Australian Grand Prix from March 14-16. The season will come to an end with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the weekend of December 5-7.
