Alia Bhatt’s much-awaited film Jigra, co-produced by the actress herself alongside Karan Johar, has received its U/A certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The movie, directed by Vasan Bala, is set to release on October 11 and will see Alia in a powerful role as a sister determined to protect her brother, played by Vedang Raina.
With a duration of 155 minutes (2 hours and 35 minutes), Jigra promises to keep audiences captivated. The trailer has already generated significant buzz, showcasing Alia in a fierce, action-packed avatar. The movie’s U/A rating means that it’s suitable for viewers above the age of 12, making it accessible to a wider audience.
Initially set for a September 27 release, the film’s launch was pushed to avoid a clash with Devara: Part 1, another film presented by Karan Johar. With high hopes surrounding Jigra, the audience and industry insiders are eager to see how it performs at the box office, especially after the success of its trailer and music.
