Ajax star Mohamed Ihattaren has his £73,000 Porsche TORCHED at 3am in Utrecht, days after marrying a TikTok star… amid claims he is facing ‘threats from gangsters over his relationship’

  • Ajax attacker Mohamed Ihattaren saw his car torched days after he got married
  • The 20-year-old Ajax player tied the knot with TikTok star Yasmine last week
  • Police are reported to have found his £73,000 Porsche in flames at 3am Tuesday
  • There are allegations in the Dutch media that he is being targeted by gangsters

Ajax attacking midfielder Mohamed Ihattaren had his Porsche torched at 3am on Tuesday morning, as police investigate claims he is being targeted by criminals following his marriage to a TikTok star.

Ihattaren, 20, had his £73,000 grey Porsche Panamera set alight in the city of Utrecht and police discovered it in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The shocking incident comes just a week after Ihattaren’s brother, Yassir, saw his own car targeted and torched.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claim that police have not ruled out arson and are continuing their investigation by monitoring CCTV in the Kanaleneiland district.

Reports in Holland go on to claim that Ihattaren, who has yet to make an appearance for Ajax this season, is facing ‘serious threats to his private life’ from criminals due to his relationship with TikTok star Yasmine, who he married on Sunday.

The couple shared photos from their wedding on social media but their relationship is alleged to have caused friction from criminal gangsters because of his relationship with the social media influencer, which was allegedly leaked by her family.

Back in July when allegations that the footballer is being targeted by criminals first emerged, he was totally dismissive.

‘Sometimes I can only laugh at the media,’ he wrote on Instagram, adding two laughing emojis.

His sister Najwa went on to add that, ‘we have nothing to do with crime and threats.’

It has not been made clear just why there are claims Ihattaren is allegedly being targeted but De Telegraaf claim that police have observed known criminals ‘in the vicinity’ of the player and his family.

Writing on Instagram on Tuesday after seeing his Porsche destroyed, the player wrote: ‘Jealousy is in the air. Fortunately, material is easily replaceable.’

Sportsmail has contacted Ihattaren’s management agency and Ajax for further comment.

Ihattaren is on loan at Ajax from Italian giants Juventus but so far on the pitch it has not gone to plan.

The 20-year-old was left off the club’s pre-season tour in Austria and staff at Ajax added that they are worried about him.

‘Let me be clear that we are all worried about Mo,’ Ajax technical director Gerry Hamstra said in July.

‘Of course we’re a football club, but some things go beyond football.

‘As a club we are very committed to Mo and are in direct contact with him. We hope things will return to normal soon. We hope he will be back soon.’

Ihattaren has so far not played a single minute of football for Ajax this season.
