This led to her fans calling out the festival for not giving her the importance she deserves.
The star’s fans took to social media sharing their disappointment seeing that the official account of the festival did not give her due importance. One user wrote, “How dare you put Aishwarya Rai in second.”. A second comment said, “Aishwarya Rai had to be mentioned too.” Another one added, “You not @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb is just sad! #snubbsters.” After the hefty comments, the post was edited adding the actress’s name to it.
The actress walked the red carpet on Thursday at the screening of Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis. Aishwarya, who has served some stunning looks at the red carpet over the years, was seen slaying in a Falguni and Shane Peacock outfit.
