On 12 July 2020, it was reported that both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive for COVID-19. Initially, the two were advised to stay at home and observe self isolation.
However, last week, the two were shifted to Nanavati Hospital. Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan were already being treated there and are still under observation.
Abhishek took to social media earlier today to confirm that his wife and daughter have tested negative for the coronavirus and hence have been discharged. Abhishek posted, “Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”
