Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, recently marked his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s film The Archies, which premiered on OTT on December 7. In a heartwarming gesture, Amitabh took Agastya to meet fans gathered outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa.
Breaking the norm of solo appearances, the veteran actor surprised his admirers by introducing Agastya to them during his routine fan interaction on Sunday. Posting their pictures on social media, Amitabh Bachchan referenced a song, Sunoh, featuring Agastya and others from his debut film. One snapshot captured Amitabh waving to the enthusiastic crowd while embracing a smiling Agastya. Another showed the duo interacting with excited fans, who were fervently clicking their photos.
The Archies, debuting Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, premiered on OTT amidst much anticipation. Ahead of its release, a star-studded screening took place in Mumbai, drawing in several celebrities including the entire Bachchan family in full support of Agastya. Amitabh, along with his actor-wife Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Shweta Bachchan, graced the event.
