The gaming laptop gets AI-powered features from Microsoft that look enhance the overall experience.
Acer India has rolled out its first fully AI-powered gaming laptop, the Nitro V 16 in India. The laptop, packed with cutting-edge technology, promises a new level of gaming experience and productivity.
It is equipped with AMD Ryzen R7 8845HS Series processors for delivering powerful performance for games and applications. The laptop also boasts NVIDIA GeForce 4060 GPU, paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD.
Running on Windows 11, the Acer Nitro V 16 offers support for AI-focused applications, including Microsoft’s Copilot chatbot as well as the company’s own software features.

Acer Nitro V 16 is priced at Rs 1,09,999 in the Indian market. The laptop is available in an Obsidian Black shade. Users who are interested in purchasing the AI-powered gaming laptop can check it out on ecom websites. The device will also be sold via Acer-exclusive stores in the country.

The newly launched Acer Nitro V 16 sports a 16-inch WQXGA (1,920×1,200 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 100 percent coverage of the sRGB colour accuracy, promising a stunning visual experience for gamers. The company claims that the new laptop is capable of 233 tera operations per second (TOPS) for AI tasks.
The tech giant further stated that it is a Copilot+ certified laptop, providing intelligent assistance, and detailed web-based answers, fostering creativity, and enhancing collaboration. Acer’s Purified Voice 2.0 AI-powered noise reduction feature eliminates background noise, ensuring crystal-clear audio during gameplay and video calls.
The inclusion of an advanced cooling system, featuring dual fans, quad intakes, and quad exhausts, ensures optimal performance even during demanding tasks and prevents performance throttling.
Moreover, the Nitro V 16 comes with DTS Ultra Audio, supporting high-impedance headphones and offering customisable sound modes for an immersive audio experience. The MUX switch is also present that lets users optimise graphics performance by seamlessly switching between integrated and discrete GPUs.
The Acer Nitro V 16 measures 362.3 x 239.89 x 23.5 mm and weighs 2.5 kg. It is packed with a 59Wh battery, which supports 135W charging. Besides, the company claims that it offers a battery life of up to 7 hours on a single charge.
Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6. It is also equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB 4 port, and an HDMI port.
