Kashika plays the character of Geeta and the story is closely connected with the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. The film is all set to release next month. Talking about her journey of working in the film Kashiska told Filmfare, “My journey with Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass has been nothing short of transformative. The audition process was intense because the character of Geeta is multi-dimensional, requiring emotional depth and strength. From the moment I auditioned, I felt a strong connection to Geeta’s story. She represents not just herself but an entire generation of girls who are fighting for their right to education, and that responsibility really resonated with me.”
Talking about her upcoming projects she said, “Currently, I have several exciting projects lined up. My Bollywood debut, Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass, is a project I’m incredibly happy to be a part of this as it carries a strong social message. Beyond that, I’m working on more Bollywood films, Missing Container and some more which explore different genres and allow me to experiment with diverse characters. I’m also making my Tollywood debut with Love Your Father, which is another significant milestone in my career. Each of these projects offers a unique narrative and presents different challenges, and I’m excited to bring them to life on screen.”
While talking about the different directors and actors she’d like to work with, Kashika said, “There are so many talented directors in the industry that I’d love to collaborate with. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is at the top of my list. His ability to create visually stunning and emotionally charged narratives is something I’ve admired for years. Another director I’d love to work with is Karan Johar. As for actors, I’ve always been inspired by Ranbir Kapoor. Another actor I deeply admire is Alia Bhatt.”
Kashika wrapped up by saying, “My journey has been one of constant growth, filled with challenges that have shaped me into a stronger and more resilient person. Each project has been a learning experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunities that have helped me evolve both personally and professionally.”
