Aamir Khan announced in November of last year that he would be taking a break from acting, for the first time in his career, to focus on producing films after the release of his latest film, Laal Singh Chaddha. Last year, he also announced that he will be producing RS Prasanna’s Champions, a remake of a Spanish film with the same title. A recent buzz suggests that he will collaborate with a South Indian director for his next film, six months after his initial announcement.
A news portal has reported that Aamir Khan is interested in making a sequel to his 2008 action thriller, Ghajini. Sources claim that the actor has been travelling to Hyderabad frequently for a while now to discuss his next project.
The report further states that Aamir Khan has been discussing a potential project with producer Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts. They reportedly met again last week to discuss various project ideas and are keen on collaborating. However, there has been no concrete development yet, and it remains just a conversation at this point.
Both Aamir and Allu Aravind are allegedly interested in taking Sanjay Singhania’s story forward and are planning to finalise a script in the coming months. However, all details regarding the project have been kept under wraps for now.
Additionally, the report mentioned that Aamir Khan has been offered numerous projects from various production houses in the film industry. He is said to be in discussions with Sneha Rajani for a content-driven drama and has also been offered Prashanth Neel’s Pan-India film with Jr. NTR. However, all of these projects are still in the preliminary stages of discussion at the moment.
