Jeon Yeo Been, who is set to appear in a new Netflix series titled A Time Called You, has opened up about her time on set alongside co-stars Ahn Hyo Seop and Kang Hoon. Additionally, she discussed the challenges of portraying two vastly different characters in the show.
At the recent press meet of the series, when the actress was asked about her experience of filming the k-drama, she expressed her excitement about filming the drama and revealed that she eagerly accepted the role after reading the script for the first time. In the drama, she portrays two characters – a high school student and an office worker – with completely opposite personalities, which she found easy to play. Her co-actors, Ahn Hyo Seop and Kang Hoon, also aided in her immersion into the characters, resulting in a joyful experience for Jeon Yeo Been.
Talking about Ahn Hyo-seop, Jeon Yeo Been stated that she had never encountered someone with such unique qualities as Ahn Hyo Seop. She observed that his portrayal of a character in love or a relationship was a result of his dedicated efforts and mannerisms. Working with him allowed her to gain new insights as an actor, and she enjoyed every moment of their collaboration without any boredom. Overall, it was an exhilarating experience for her.
A Time Called You is a romantic mystery with a time-travel element, adapted from the Taiwanese drama Someday or One Day. The story revolves around Jun Hee, who is mourning the loss of her boyfriend who passed away a year ago. She finds herself transported back to 1998 where she meets Si Heon, who looks remarkably like her deceased lover. The series is set to premiere on September 8 on OTT.
