Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are finally engaged after dating for some time. She took to Instagram to share the news with her fans and followers and wrote, “Forever begins now.”
While they seemingly started dating in 2023, they have known each other for some time. Benny and Selena collaborated on her tracks Same Old Love and Kill ‘Em With Kindness back in 2015. Then they worked together again in 2017 for Selena’s song Trust Nobody. In 2019, the duo appeared in the music video for Benny’s song I Can’t Get Enough.
They reportedly started dating in June 2023 and in July of that year, Benny Blanco attended Selena’s birthday party. She shared several photos from the party and one of them showed her with her arms wrapped around the singer. Cut to October, he attended an event of Selena’s beauty brand Rare Beauty.
Selena finally confirmed her relationship in December when she responded to a fan post with the headline “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms Relationship With Benny Blanco.” She wrote “Facts.”

In December, she also dropped their first kissing photo. Around the same time, she responded to an Instagram comment that asked her to stop posting photos of her boyfriend, referring to Benny. She wrote, “It’s been 6 months bb. I will always defend my friends, family, and fans till the day I die.”
She also started wearing a ring with ‘B’ on it.
In January this year, they attended a Los Angeles Lakers game together. Photos went viral where Selena could be seen snuggled up to Benny. Selena and Benny also attended the Golden Globes together and Selena shared a photo of Benny kissing her neck.
As soon as Selena announced her engagement, her industry friends and colleagues rushed to congratulate her. Taylor Swift hilariously commented that she would be her flower girl.
