The sequel to the comedy blockbuster Bhagam Bhag was confirmed last month, much to the delight of Bollywood fans. The film starred Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal. Although details have not been revealed about the sequel, actor Govinda says that no one has approached him for Bhagam Bhag 2.
In an interview, he said, “Nobody has approached me for Bhagam Bhag 2 or sat down for a discussion. There are stories of me not just doing Bhagam Bhag but many other sequels, including Partner.”
Meanwhile, the rights for the sequel were recently acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions who has simultaneously also been working on the film’s script. She will be producing the film along with Shemaroo.
Currently, in the final stages of writing, Bhagam Bhag 2 is slated to go on floors in mid-2025.
