Amid Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s divorce rumours, Salman Khan talks about Abhishek Bachchan in viral video, watch here.
Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai ended their relationship in 2002, with Aishwarya accusing Salman of physical abuse. Their relationship became surrounded by controversy, with allegations of possessiveness and abusive behavior directed at Salman. One rumoured incident involved him allegedly breaking a glass window or mirror at Aishwarya’s home in a moment of anger, reflecting a broader pattern of troubling behavior. Although both have avoided discussing specific incidents publicly, Aishwarya has mentioned experiencing harassment during the relationship without revealing explicit details. Ultimately, the two moved on, focusing on separate paths in both their personal and professional lives.
After so many years of breakup and Aishwarya being Abhishek Bachchan’s wife, Rajat Sharma in Aap Ki Adalat asked the same question about the allegations that Aishwarya had put. Reacting to this Salman said politely, “Uske baare mein kya kahu sir. I just wish that, you know, I believe in one thing your personal life is your personal life. If I go to defend this, then sir, somewhere someone was a part of your life and you’d be denying it.”
Salman further said, “The best thing to do is stay silent. Itne saal beet gaye hai, you know, she is someone’s wife, married into a big family. I am very happy that she is married to Abhishek. I think Abhishek is a great guy. This is the best thing any ex-boyfriend would want. You don’t want, once your friendship is over, you don’t want that person to be miserable without you. You want that person to be really really happy without you. So that, ek selfish reason bhi hogya, there’s no guilt on your head. But it’s the best way to see it. That’s how I feel.”
Salman’s honest yet respectful comments have captured viewers’ attention online, revealing a more thoughtful and mature side of him.
