Veteran Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh passed away at the age of 80 in Chennai. As per reports, the actor died due to health complications. His family confirmed the tragic news through a statement.
The late actor’s son Mahadevan took to his Instagram story and wrote, “We deeply regret to inform you that our father Mr. Delhi Ganesh has passed away on 9th November around 11 pm.”
Delhi Ganesh began his career with Pattina Pravesam. He was christened Delhi Ganesh by director K. Balachander. Ganesh appeared in over 400 films through the span of his decades-long filmography.
Some of his most notable films include Sindhu Bhairavi, Nayakan and Thenali, among others. He was last seen in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2.
Delhi Ganesh is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
