According to reports, Irrfan Khan has been admitted to a suburban hospital as the actor’s health suddenly deteriorated. Reportedly, he’s in the ICU. In 2018, the Hindi Medium actor was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. He travelled abroad for treatment. Later, he shot for Angrezi Medium, which hit the screens before the lockdown.
Irrfan Khan had poured his thoughts in an emotional note on battling cancer that read, “I had been in a different game, I was travelling on a speedy train ride, had dreams, plans, aspirations, goals, was fully engaged in them. And suddenly someone taps on my shoulder and I turn to see. It’s the TC: ‘Your destination is about to come. Please get down’!”
The actor recently lost his mother Saeeda Begum, who passed away in Rajasthan. Irrfan paid his last respects through a video call, as he was unable to travel due to the lockdown.
