Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was the talk of tinsel town. The grand, extravagant affair was an event in itself, filled with every possible luxury. Days after the wedding wrapped up, Pakistani actor Arsalan Naseer shared a post from an Indian news portal on his Instagram story and took a jibe at the Ambanis for such a lavish event. However, this move has backfired. People in India have trolled the actor.

Naseer reacted to Ambani’s massive pre-wedding and wedding affair. On his social media, he wrote, “Itney der toh aaj kal relationships nahi chalte… jitney invoke functions chaley hain (Relationships these days don’t last as long as their wedding functions have lasted).” Soon after, his quote was picked up by a Pakistani portal and went viral. Later, several users in India picked up Naseer’s comment and trolled him. Internet users asked him not to be jealous and to not worry about the celebration as he was not the one who paid for it.

A user wrote, “What sort of stupid statement is this? They’re childhood friends and they’re meant to be forever. Doesn’t mean they have to relate to the disloyalty that’s become the norm today. They’re loyal to one another, hence their celebration should be grand too.”

Another user wrote, “Why are you jealous bro, let them be happy.” A user asked, “Aap ko kya takleef hai, apki jaeb se ja rahe hain paise?”
