Supply of PPE kits

Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation pledged to supply 50,000 kits to the healthcare workers in Maharashtra and West Bengal. The Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare of Maharashtra even took to Twitter and extended his gratitude to the actor for his lovely gesture.

2. Arranging quarantine centres for patients

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan recently announced that they will be offering their 4 storey office space as a quarantine centre for the BMC. 3. Food supply

Shah Rukh Khan also tied up with Ek Saath Foundation to supply food to 5500 families who were initially surviving on daily wages. The organisation ensured that these families ration needs were met through these difficult times.


4. Monetary donations

The biggest victim of the coronavirus pandemic is the country’s economy. To help reduce the burden on the government, Shah Rukh Khan made donations to various organisations and Narendra Modi’s PM CARES fund with the aim of providing to those in need.

Social media is obviously one of the best mediums to get your message out there and Shah Rukh Khan has made use of this to spread awareness regarding the coronavirus along with urging people to stay home and observe social distancing.
