Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The makers have given fans an insight into the film through posters and introduction of Ashwatthama and Bhairava which will be portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas, respectively.
The film which is slated to release on June 27 is said to have an animated prelude which is aimed at offering viewers a sneak peek into the intricate world of director Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama. What is even more exciting is that the lead actor Prabhas has lent his voice to the animated character
This will be released on OTT and the actual film will pick up from where the animated series leaves it at. The film is said to have one of the highest budgets any Indian film has ever had which is around 500 crores.
