NEW DELHI: Images of former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma being involved in an intense chat with Kolkata Knight Riders coaches and support staff ahead of their match on Saturday added more spice to the rumours of him leaving the five-time champions ahead of next season.

Since Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy from Rohit in a somewhat controversial manner, the opener reportedly hasn’t been happy at the franchise.

Earlier, a now-deleted video of Rohit and Nayar posted by KKR spread like a wildfire on social media.
In the clip shared by the franchise, Rohit seemingly indicated that he hasn’t been happy with the way things have been going around in his current team this season.
The video was later deleted by KKR from its social media handles.
KKR on Saturday beat MI by 18 runs in a rain-shortened game to become the first team to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs.
MI, on the other hand, are already out of the playoffs race. They have 9 losses in 13 games under new captain Hardik.
