BALLO: Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM), the two farm outfits spearheading ‘Delhi Chalo‘ 2.0 protest, have asked farmers across country to head for Delhi on March 6 through any mode of transport other than tractors and disrupt rail traffic for four hours from 12 noon to 4pm on March 10. Farmers from Punjab will continue camping at Punjab-Haryana borders.
These decisions were taken on Sunday at ‘antim ardas’ of farmer Shubhkaran Singh, who was killed at Khanauri border in clashes with Haryana Police on Feb 21. Various constituents of SKM (NP) attended the ceremony.
KMM convener Sarvan Singh Pandher said protests will continue at both Punjab-Haryana border sites (Khanauri and Shambhu) while organisations that are part of SKM (NP) and KMM will reach Jantar Mantar in Delhi on vehicles other than tractors on March 6.
