Taapsee Pannu, a versatile actor, is also making waves as a producer. Her recent production Dhak Dhak follows the journey of four women at different stages of life as they take a bike trip to Khardung La, the highest motorable road in India.
The movie was only shown in a few theatres, but it has garnered praise since it was released on OTT. Now, a sequel has been announced.
On Monday, Sanjana took to Instagram and wrote, “SPECIAL NEWS : The #DhakDhakSequel. My darling Manjari, she has a curious heart, eyes brimming with hope, and love for the world. She doesn’t mistake liberation as rebellion. She revels in her innocence with a belief that the world is equally so. She’s content in her protected world in Mathura, but eager to experience the world. She’s the best friend everyone wants in their life. Solid. Supportive. Objective.”

Dhak Dhak which also featured Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Dia Mirza and was released in theatres on October 13, 2023.
