Veteran actor-comedian Jagdeep passed away yesterday at the age of 81. The late actor was known for his effortless comedy scenes and was even a part of Bollywood iconic film Sholay where he played the part of Soorma Bhopali. Today the last rites of the late actor were performed at the Shia Kabristan in Mazgaon in the presence of Javed Jaffrey, Meezaan Jaffrey, Naved Jaffrey and several other people from their family. However, Meezaan’s sister Alaviaa Jaffrey (Javed Jaffrey’s daughter) wasn’t seen attending the funeral.
But, that didn’t stop her from posting pictures from her childhood with her granddad. She took to Instagram to share three never-seen-before stills of her grandfather, one solo and the other two with her in his arms. Our condolences are with the family of the deceased.
