Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Jawan has been making a lot of headlines since its release. Recently, actress Lehar Khan who portrayed the role of Kalki talked about her experience of working with King Khan and how he comforted her during the filming of the movie.
In an interview with a leading news portal, Lehar talked about the filming of the metro heist scene and talked about how Shah Rukh Khan calmed her down due to her being nervous.
She said, “My collar was uneven, and I was struggling with it. Suddenly, SRK sir just came out of nowhere and he fixed my collar. He picked up all my props. Since it was an emotional scene for me in that shot, he calmed me down completely. He could feel that I was a little nervous. He put me at ease with his gentle, warm behaviour. He also appreciated my performance and said, ‘Mashallah, you’re a very good actor.’ That’s going to stay very close to my heart forever.”
Lehar shared more insights about the movie and Shah Rukh Khan and revealed that he puts in a lot of effort in rehearsals to perfect his part before giving his takes. He is an experienced actor with a passion for his craft. Lehar also learned from him the importance of having liveliness as an actor and making her character stand out. She is determined to work hard to achieve this goal.
