Alia Bhatt finally unveiled the first look poster of her much anticipated next Sadak 2 during a live session with Disney+ Hotstar this evening. In the poster, one can see a solitary road leading to Mount Kailash. A sequel to Mahesh Bhatt’s 1991 hit Sadak, the film will now stream on leading streaming platform Disney+Hotstar.
Speaking about the project, the film’s leading actress Alia Bhatt shared what makes Sadak 2 different from the original during the live session today. She revealed, “The story of Ravi (Sanjay) will move forward. He meets these two new people (Alia-Aditya). The film has different love stories and also has (an element of) thrill. The villain is someone very different and totally unexpected,”
Adding further, Bhatt shared how working on the project was a homecoming for her. She said, “That the whole family is coming to make a film together. That emotion is of another level altogether… I always wanted to be picturised in a song from the Bhatt camp, which has been famous for its music.”
Sadak 2 will also star Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in important roles.
