Arshad Warsi has recently received a lot of praise for his portrayal of Dhananjay Rajput in Asur 2, and he is grateful for it. During an interview, the actor shared how he landed his debut film Tere Mere Sapne alongside Chandrachur Singh. The movie was produced by Amitabh Bachchan’s production company.

Talking about it, he mentioned that the director Joy Augustine offered him the film and said that the production house just wanted to see his pictures.

Arshad Warsi once confided to Joy that he was uncertain about his acting skills and even admitted that he cannot act. He expressed his concerns about not wanting to be pitied by others, stating that he came to pursue acting and didn’t want to be known as someone who failed to make it in the industry.

Later, Arshad Warsi shared that he received a call from Jaya Bachchan, and he was worried that he might get fired. Despite this, he also thought it would be an honour to be fired by Amitabh Bachchan’s wife. However, to his surprise, Jaya Bachchan only asked if he could speak in Hindi, and he nervously replied in English. She then revealed that he had been selected for the role.
