On Saturday, at a global fan OTT event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where many first looks, sneak peeks and several announcements were made. Many upcoming Korean dramas and movies’ first looks and casts were also announced.
The OTT platform also released a compilation video giving sneak peeks of the highly anticipated series such as Celebrity, Sweet Home 2, D.P, Season 2, A Time Called You, Song of the Bandits, Doona!, Daily Dose of Sunshine, Mask Girl and Gyeongseong Creature, among others.
Celebrity (June 30)
Celebrity, featuring Park Gyu Young, Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Chung Ah, and Lee Dong Gun portrays the existence of a famous person. Directed by Kim Cheol Kyu and written by Kim Yi Young.
D.P. 2 (August 27)
The series features Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan and centres around the Deserter Pursuit unit, a group of soldiers who blend in with civilians but have a unique role. They are responsible for locating and retrieving runaway soldiers, even if it means risking their lives.
Mask Girl (2023)
Written and directed by Kim Yong Hoon, Mask Girl features Kim Hyun Jung, Ahn Jae Hong, and Yeom Hye Ran. The plot revolves around an office worker who is not confident about her appearance and takes on a masked identity on the internet. However, her life takes an unexpected turn after a chain of events.
A Time Called You (2023)
The upcoming series, directed by Kim Jin Won and written by Choi Hyo Bi, stars Ahn Hyo Seop, Jeon Yeo Been, and Kang Hoon. It is based on the Taiwanese drama Some Day or One Day, which tells the story of Huang Yu Xuan (Alice Ke), a woman who pines for her true love Wang Quan Sheng (Greg Han). After a life-altering accident, Huang wakes up as a high school student named Chen Yan Ru in the year 1998 and realises that the man by her side is not her boyfriend but a fellow student named Li Zi Wei.
Song Of Bandits (2023)
The series Song of the Bandits is created by Han Jung Hoon and Hwang Jun Hyuk and features Kim Nam Gil, Seolhyun, Yoo Jae Myung, Lee Hyun Wook, and Lee Ho Jung in starring roles.
Doona! (2023)
Doona! features Bae Suzy and Yang Se Jong as the lead actors. The show follows the journey of a college student who has to balance school and life while residing with a former K-pop star. The creators of this series are Lee Jung Hyo and Jang Yu Ha.
Daily Dose of Sunshine (2023)
The series features Park Bo Young, Yeon Woo Jin, Hang Dong Yoon, and Lee Jung Sun, and is created by Lee JQ, Kim Nam Su, Lee Nam Kyu, Oh Bo Hyn, and Kim Da Hee. Park Bo Young plays the lead character Jung Da Eun, who shifts from internal medicine to neuropsychiatry. Although she is new to her job and fumbles often, she treats her patients with sincerity and grows up to be a brave person. Yeon Woo Jin’s character, Dong Go Yoon, is a proctologist who has a peculiar personality and cannot help but smile when he witnesses Da Eun’s pure actions.
Sweet Home 2
The series features Song Kang, Lee Jin Uk, Lee Si Young, Lee Do Hyun, Kim Nam Hee, Go Min Si, Park Gyu Young, Go Youn Jung, Kim Gap Soo, and Kang Sang Ho. It is created by a team of writers including Lee Eung Bok, Hong So Ri, Jang Young Woo, King Hyong Min, Park So Hyeon and Park So Jeong. This series is a follow-up to a popular show which revolves around a high school student who prefers to be alone and moves into a new apartment. However, when monsters start appearing among humanity, the residents of the apartment building become trapped inside.
Gyeongseong Creature
Gyeongseong Creature is a thriller k-drama which takes place in the spring of 1945 featuring Gyeongseong (present-day Seoul)’s darkest era. The series is created by Kang Eun Kyung and Chung Dong Yoon and stars Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, Claudia Kim, Kim Hae Seok, Wi Ha Jun, and Cho Han Cheul.

Ballerina (2023)
The film, which stars Jun Jong Seo, Kim Ji Hun, and Park Yu Rum, tells the tale of an ex-bodyguard who, while grieving the loss of her best friend, decides to carry out that friend’s final wish: to exact some sweet retribution. It is written and directed by Lee Chung Hyun.
Believer 2 (2023)
This movie is directed by Baik and written by Kim Hee Jin. In addition to Cho Jin Woong and Cha Seung Won, it also stars Han Hyo Joo, Oh Seung Hon, Kim Dong Young, and Lee Woo Young.
