Ram Charan is the man of the moment after Naatu Naatu, the song he was featured in with Jr. NTR won the Oscar for Best Original Song last week at the Oscars. Fans of Indian cinema are celebrating the team’s historic victory all across the world.

Now, Ram Charan’s friends and coworkers are also comRam memorating this professional achievement. We’re talking about director-choreographer Prabhu Deva and the cast of Ram Charan’s forthcoming film (tentatively titled RC15), who celebrated the triumph in the classic Naatu Naatu way. Ram Charan’s colleagues from RC15 greeted him back to the movie’s sets after the Oscars by doing the song’s immensely popular iconic step, in addition to showering him with a massive garland.

In a video uploaded by Ram Charan on Instagram, numerous dancers led by Prabhu Deva are seen executing the move and applauding for team RRR. Sharing the video, Ram Charan said: “Can’t thank you all enough for such a warm welcome. Our grandmaster Prabhudeva sir thank you for the sweet surprise. Feels great to be back at shoot.” In the video, choreographer Prem Rakshith, the genius behind Naatu Naatu’s signature steps, is also honoured.





Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni also shared the video on Instagram stories and thanked Prabhu Deva and the team. Sharing the video, she wrote, “Mr. C is back at shoot! What a warm welcome from the RC15 team, Prabhudeva ji, and the 400 super-talented dancers on set.”

Naatu Naatu is the first Telugu song to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The song triumphed against Lady Gaga’s Hold My Hand, Rihanna’s Raise Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Diane Warren’s Applause from Tell It Like a Woman, and Mitski and David Byrne’s This Is A Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava performed the song live at the Oscars and garnered a standing ovation from the audience.
