For their spiritual travels, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have often made headlines. The couple was seen in a video that appeared online on Saturday at the Baba Mahakaleshwar Temple in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh.
Anushka was spotted accompanying Virat to the “Bhasma Aarti” ceremony, which is performed between 4 and 5:30 in the morning during the Brahma Muhurta. Anushka was dressed in a pink saree. Moreover, the Jalabhishek was done there by the couple. Virat and Anushka also spent some time at the temple after the rites. Prior to this, Virat and Anushka travelled to Rishikesh for a spiritual excursion, during which they stopped by the Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram. The internet was flooded with images of the pair praying at the ashram.
Recently, Virat Kohli had hailed Anushka for making sacrifices for motherhood. During a podcast, Virat had said, “The way things have been in the past two years, we have had our child and, as a mother, the sacrifices that she made have been massive. Looking at her, I realised whatever problems I had were nothing. As far as expectations are concerned, as long as your family loves you for who you are, you don’t expect much because that is the basic requirement.”
Anushka Sharma announced the completion of her next, Chakda Xpress, last December. For this sports drama, she will essay the legendary Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami.
