Swara Bhasker, who tied the knot with social activist Fahad Ahmad recently, took to social media and revealed the couple’s love story. She described how they met at various protest sites and shared ideologies about questioning the status quo, before falling in love.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a video that encapsulates her love story with her husband. Swara wrote, “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours!”
The video opens with an old TV showing Swara and Fahad’s social media posts while also introducing Fahad and Swara. The video also shows their first meeting with a message written as “Obviously, it began at a protest.
The video also showcases their daily lives and also gives details about their friendship through their ideologies. In one of the messages, Fahad invited her to his sister’s wedding. Due to prior shoot commitments, Swara was unable to attend, but she promised to attend his wedding instead.
In the video, Ghalib, the cat that “brought” them together, is also introduced. Subsequently, we learn that they submitted an application for marriage registration under the Special Marriage Act in January before getting hitched this week.
