Brighton and Hove Albion: a correction
An article last Sunday said the Brighton captain Lewis Dunk made direct representations to the club’s owner Tony Bloom over Brighton’s stance on the Premier League re-start.
In fact, no such representations were made, and we accept the club’s assurance that no players are unhappy with the club’s position. The club and its chief executive Paul Barber have consistently supported a safe re-start and are only one of a significant majority of Premier League clubs opposed to playing on neutral grounds.
We apologise for any suggestion otherwise.
