Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was left amused after a young boy from Mumbai solved the Rubik’s cube, without looking at it, in a record time. Taking to Instagram, Tendulkar shared the video of the same, where netizens can see him mesmerised with the young lad, Mohammed Aiman Koli’s skills. “Met this young man a while back & I’m still amazed by what he can do without looking — what most of us can’t do even while looking,” Tendulkar captioned the video on social media.
Koli was challenged by the cricketer to solve the Cube on camera and he did it only in 17 seconds, leaving the ‘master-blaster’ all surprised.
The video starts when Tendulkar hands over the Cube to Koli and Koli takes some time to memorise the pattern carefully. In the next sixteen seconds, he is seen having his head bowed down and solving the Cube.
Koli is a Guinness World Record holder, says Tendulkar.
“Shocking, absolutely unbelievable,” he adds as he is seen visibly impressed by Koli.
“His next challenge is to teach me,” the veteran cricketer says before ending the video.
The video has garnered over 2 million views on Instagram, in less than a day.
At the Koli VJTI Mumbai Cube Open, Koli had set the world record for being the ‘fastest to solve a rotating puzzle cube using feet’. He had achieved the record in 15.56 seconds to solve a standard 3x3x3 cube, reports Indian Express.
Recebtly, a TikTok video by a young man, Alex Ivanchak, went on to blow netizens’ minds as he created an uncannily pixelated portrait of Hollywood actor Leonardo Di Caprio, that involved solving 400 Rubik’s cubes.
The video was shared on Twitter by Tim Brannigan and went on to garner over 1.7 million views as many watched how the 22-year-old rubik’s cube solving artist created an art piece. The tweet has been liked by over 77.2k Twitter users while thousands of them applaud his work.
