75 Years of Independence – Where are Bharat and Pakistan now

On 18th July 1947, with the enactment of the Indian Independence Act 1947, Bharat and Pakistan were divided into two Dominions. Subsequently, on 14 August 1947 and 15 August 1947, both Pakistan and Bharat respectively declared their independence.

True to its partition cause, Pakistan chose to become the Islamic Republic, while India remained the Secular Republic. Both started their journey in modern times with equal social, economic, political, religious, cultural, and international situations. However, after 75 Years of Independence in 2022, Pakistan remains in a self-cannibalistic state ultimately destroying itself. Whereas, India is on the path to become a major global power.

Ayub Khan’s military coup and hatred against India

A state’s strength is inscribed in its society. A progressive and peaceful society is the foundational stone of a prosperous state. It not only provides political stability in a state but also a conducive environment for an economy to grow. The growth of businesses, industries, and political stability cumulatively create wealth for a state.

However, Pakistan, a state created with hatred against Hindus, remained under the complete control of Islam. Pakistan has dug its own grave by dictating its policies in terms of religion. Influencing every policy through the lens of religion and selling their soul in the hate for India.

Mohammed Ali Jinnah died of tuberculosis on 11 September 1948 leaving power in the hand of Liaquat Ali Khan. As the country was constantly pushing to capture Kashmir from India, the blank political space was captured by military General Ayub Khan.

After the successful military coup against its President Iskander Mirza in 1958, Ayub Khan became the president of Pakistan. Thereafter, with their humiliating loss in the 1965 War against Bharat, Pakistan remained in a self-destruction mood.

In their hatred towards India, they continued to export terrorism which resulted in instability in their own country. This ruined the country’s business growth despite its strategic geographical location around the globe. Further, in an arms race with India, they developed weapons of mass destruction but could not feed its mass population.

Pakistan remained a satellite state

Blinded by foreign aid, Pakistan aided the world’s two most powerful countries in their conquest over South Asia. The country focused on military development but completely ignored its business infrastructure. The instability during the Cold War era & continued fighting in Afghanistan further sank the development boat of Pakistan and the Islamic country missed the bus of the third industrial revolution.

After the US, they held the hand of the Chinese. But the booming market of China did not help Pakistan to grow its industrial base. The country was used by China to advance its presence in the Arabian Sea and made Pakistan a satellite state for their personal gain.

Although, they made a strong military nexus against India but they remained a serf of China. The paper dragon did not let the Islamic republic stand on its own. Now, the Islamic State is on the verge of missing the bus of the fourth industrial revolution.

Lost the bus of the industrial revolution

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan throughout history (since 1947) remained a satellite state. Every policy of Pakistan was decided in the bedroom of America & China. This never let the country stand on its own and learn the basic policy of a modern state to live for their own people, not kill others. And now, Pakistan has reached the point of destruction where they are unable feed their own people despite being the ‘closest friend’ of the world’s second-largest economy, China.

Except the terror industry, every other industry in Pakistan is in a state of decline. Inflation, unemployment, stagnation, and debt are on the rise. The country’s external debt has risen to $10.886 billion and the state’s foreign exchange reserves are struggling with just about $2 billion.

Recently, Pakistan borrowed $2.3 billion from China at an undisclosed interest rate. The country is also in talks to get $1 billion from the IMF. In order to save foreign currency, the country is requesting its population to drink Chai, Lassi, and Sattu. With the looming economic crisis, Pakistan is in a total mess.

India on Road to Become a Major Global Power

On the other hand, India, which started the race of development with equal lines, is achieving a new height in prosperity. The nation’s economic numbers are excellent, society is prospering, the government is stable and international stature is at an all-time high.

With about US$ 3.12 trillion in nominal gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices, the Indian economy is the world’s sixth largest economy. In the recession period, when the world’s countries are struggling to maintain growth, India is expected to grow at 7-8% of the annual GDP rate.

With about US$ 572 billion, India’s foreign exchange reserves stand strong against dollar shortfall. Ease of doing business and ease of living, both are steadily growing. With over 100 unicorns with a total valuation of USD 332.7 billion, India is the third largest unicorn base.

Economic opportunity has helped the state with enormous resources. With the establishment of a welfare social policy, the government is able to substantially reduce inequality and poverty in society. The economic management has also helped the state to strengthen its defence capabilities and safeguards its sovereignty.

On 14th and 15th of August 2022, Pakistan and Bharat, respectively, will celebrate their 75th independence. Starting the journey with an equal position, India is constantly progressing towards prosperity. On the other hand, Pakistan will once again search for countries or organizations to acquire loans.

The degenerative society has still not learned the lesson of self-love. They are still spreading venom against India and exporting terrorists. Although Bharat is now capable enough to safeguard its people but who will save Pakistan from destruction? In hatred against India, they have dug their own grave.
