With a brand new season of Formula 1 fast approaching, here’s a mini guide of the complete races in 2024 and how it will be different from the past year.
Five continents. 21 countries. 24 races. The 2024 Formula 1 season will be the biggest ever with a record-breaking races set to be held between February 29 with the Bahrain Grand Prix to December 8 when the final race will be held in Abu Dhabi.

When will the pre-season testing be conducted?
The pre-season testing will be held between February 21-23 at the Bahrain International Circuit
When will the first race of F1 2024 be held?
The first race of the year will be held between February 29 to March 2
Where will the first race of F1 2024 be held?
The opening race of the season will be held in Bahrain.
When is the final race of Formula One 2024?
The final race of F1 2024 will be held from December 6-8 at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit.
How many races have been scheduled for F1 2024?
A record-breaking 24 races will be held this year which is the most for any season in F1 history. At the inaugural season in 1950, seven races were held with six of them in Europe and one in USA.
Are there Sprint Events for F1 2024?
Yes, six of them with China and Miami the latest entrants. Besides the two new venues, the sprint events will be held in Austria, USA, Brazil and Qatar.
Explain what are double-headers and triple-headers?
To accommodate the record number of races this season, wherever possible, Grands Prix are being held on successive weekends. So if there are two Grands Prix in on consecutive weekends, it’s known as a double-header and in case of three, a triple-header.
